Coastal Trail and Ship Creek Trail To Be Connected By Mutual Friend

The Municipality of Anchorage reports that the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and the Ship Creek Trail will soon be connected by a mutual friend. “We’re very excited that these two trails will finally be able to meet one another,” said Mayor Suzanne LaFrance during a press conference. “They’ve been circling each other for a while, and we’ve always thought that they would be a good match, but they’ve never had an opportunity to meet until now when they’ll be brought together by a shared acquaintance.”

“We think their first meeting will be by the port, and we’ll see what sort of chemistry arises,” the mayor continued. “They’re so close already, they are practically playing footsie under the table. We just hope this mutual friend will be able to help bring their relationship into the open for all to enjoy.” At press time, the Coastal Trail had just matched with the Campbell Creek Trail on AllTrails.
